They can't see that all the government regulations have stifled competition. Your fighting a losing battle, friend, we Libertarians have no chance of removing the partisan blinders on the typical voter. No chance. I've been fighting that same battle for thirty years now.
Make your money work as best you can and keep an eye to the future. Only the prepared will make it out of this mess.

The thing is that the market is getting worse since the government got involved the free market is older than the US it fixes itself over time. When the government try to act like it can fix it it gets worse since they have no clue what the problem is. They don't get that by bailing out the banks and car companies they will not live long without the consumer. Also you are acting like big business is the worst thing ever i can guarantee the cloths you are wearing and the computer you are using came from BIG BUSINESS.

Where is a major deregulated market in America? And which one do you believe has become less regulated. You mentioned food production; the addition of Process Safety Management, Risk Management Programs, and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) – especially with major meat producers with ammonia refrigeration systems – is a web of regulation that did not exist during the Reagan era.
You reckon the oil industry is not highly regulated??? Think again!
You are very mistaken about George Soros. His skill is controlling currency markets.
