"Who are the most ruthless capitalists in the western world? Whose monopolistic practices make Walmart look like a corner shop and Rupert Murdoch a socialist? You won’t guess the answer in a month of Sundays. While there are plenty of candidates, my vote goes not to the banks, the oil companies or the health insurers, but – wait for it – to academic publishers. Theirs might sound like a fusty and insignificant sector. It is anything but. Of all corporate scams, the racket they run is most urgently in need of referral to the competition authorities. Everyone claims to agree that people should be encouraged to understand science and other academic research. Without current knowledge, we cannot make coherent democratic decisions. But the publishers have slapped a padlock and a "keep out" sign on the gates."

whoever believes in Jesus knows that He came to Earth in order to save us and enlighten us regarding God's will and the Divine Word. He gave all the information and wisdom necessary and told the apostles to spread them in the whole world, and when that will be done completely (the whole world had the privilege of access to it) He will return. God's word is for any one of us, at least this should have been made clear after Luther's restoration and the translation of the Bible in various languages so that anyone could read it.
secret religious documents and missions are made only by people, not by God. He is reaching everyone, individually, not according to oaths and church ranks, christian or non-christian, believers and atheists

>I've said this before. We're currently making tons of money on the iPhone and next on is Android.>Make Symbian work like those platforms and I will be the first one to jump on Symbian and even help you evangelizing it (to hundreds of IT students). My short answer is that Symbian 2.0 will take on the key positive features of these other platforms. The slightly longer answer: the structural and organisational changes in the Symbian world which are currently being planned (pending approval from the competition authorities) will make it considerably easier for us to rapidly evolve and enhance our programs for developer support, application signing, and application distribution. So I look forward to your help with evangelism – once you're convinced that there's good money to be made from working on Symbian solutions, and that the platform deserves your support

Look at the header image. Do you see anything on the right? No? Look closer. Yep, Nippon Electric Glass developed a new technology it calls ‘invisible glass’ because it looks, well, invisible. The point of the glass is to reduce as much glare as possible, a huge disadvantage of normal glass. In fact, normal glass reflects 8 percent of all light that passes through it. This new “invisible” glass reflects only 0.5 percent. Seriously, the first time I saw the picture, it took me a while to realize there was … Read more
